Well… at the computer anyway.
Some days it does feel like that; constructing what may look like a simple sentence took hours or even a whole day to write.
So yes, we bleed and are emotionally tied to our work. And why shouldn’t we be? After all, we must first fertilise with our imaginations, birth with our writings and nurture our precious manuscripts.
