Aphrodite’s Curse is also now available via Goodreads.

Aphrodite’s Curse is about a little known character from Greek Mythology called Phaedra. She is King Minos’ daughter, sister to Ariadne and a princess of Krete. There isn’t a lot known about Phaedra apart from Euripides’ play Hippolytus. If you do a search on the internet you will find versions of plays and a few books published. I didn’t want to read too much about her apart from Euripides and what I could find in mythology.

Written as a monologue, the character can be at times vulnerable and sweet, but when describing the tragic events surrounding the death of her brother, she can be quite cold and unforgiving. She also can come across spoilt and petulant; she is a princess after all!
